If you have completed your course in fashion designing then all you have to do is to apply in different export firms and appear for the interviews.
Take your portfolio along with you, as it increases the chance of getting job.

Have you tried calling the office? Keep the busy schedule in mind and expecting a prompt reply would be wrong. If you are associated with any firm, you can request your seniors to communicate with Tarun Tahiliani and his staff. Have you sent across your portfolio with your mail? That's very important. Get hold of his associates, if needed you do have to drop by.

Hi Satyendra,
Take any creative subject or arts or languages. I would recommend you to start practicing sketching to begin with. Try to observe things closely and sketch them. You can also buy good sketch books from the market for sketching including shading, shadows and human figures. However, soon you may have to upgrade to more serious books like The Survival Kit by Richards William.
Psychology and literature are two useful subjects. Try to participate in writing, drawing/ painting, sports, dramatics, music, singing etc., whatever is possible for you.

Go beyond just thinking, sketch your ideas and then get the material and get them stitches just as the way you thought of. While doing so, you will really get to know whether you really like it or it's just a fascination. Because in real, a garment, also known as fashion is more than styling and you should try to clear if why you are actually interested in design.

Yes, there are short - term courses in fashion, apparel, fabric and design basics at NIFT.
But, I am not sure if there is any aptitude test for applying.
