Dear Prabhat,
Fashion Designing is a great filed to get into. You can get admission in following Institutes for distance education:
A. R&R Education Foundation.
B. Winsoft Technologies.
Also, I would suggest it would be good if you pursue a regular course as distance course will not help you learn much about the course.

Hi Shubhi,
I would suggest you consider doing an internship and get absorbed in the garment industry. If you wish to take up a higher degree, you can go for a degree in business management or entrepreneurship. You can also do specialization in visual merchandising or retail management.

Hi Mandavi
You can go for a diploma.
However, I would encourage you to look at the entire field of design at this stage. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. The world has changed a lot and a lot of new & wonderful careers in design have come up.

Hi Ravi,
The difference between PG and PG Diploma in fashion design is as follows:
-The duration of the diploma would range between 1-2 years whereas the duration of the degree is at least 2 years
-The details of the syllabus differ as in the diploma basics would be shared with less no. of practicals whereas the PG would offer more detailed information and also more practical exposure,k this could also include internships.
Hope this information helps. Please feel free to revert. Click on the thumbs up or mark it as the best, if you found this useful. Wish You Luck!
