The most common degree available in this subject is the Bachelor of arts in textile design. Master's degree programs are available for those interested in textile design management. They are hired as technical designers who have formal training in shoe pattern-making, cutting, designing and sample preparation, or as stylist designers. They have to be aware of the international fashion trends and have the ability to conceptualise a saleable product. Hi,
As you know there are two levels to crack NIFT i.e. aptitude test and situation test. Situation test is totally based on your presence of mind and creative skills.
It's very important to crack situation test to get into NIFT. Definitely, it's a game changer but you can not ignore aptitude test as its 1st step and it has 60% weightage on your overall marks.
To get a seat of your desired course and centre, it's very important to perform well in both the exams. Otherwise, it becomes difficult to get the department of your choice.
All the best to all the aspirants. I hope my answer will help you!
Best wishes!
