No, only the hard copy of the admit card (printed in colour) is allowed for entry in the exam hall along with an original Photo ID. GATE admit card 2026 will not be issued to the candidates whose registration is incomplete or unsuccessful. If the authorities find any information, not in the prescribed format or is doubtful, the GATE application will be rejected and the admit card will not be issued.

Students might face some problems while downloading the GATE hall ticket 2026. The problem might be due to slow internet connectivity or a heavy load on the server. In such situations, candidates should try downloading the admit card after a short duration. In case any candidate forgets their application ID/Enrollment ID or password, they can reset it. In case a candidate has forgotten their password, they can reset it from the GOAPS portal. Candidates need to click on the "Forgot Password" link, after which they will be redirected to create a new password.

No, you cannot join MIT School of Architecture for B.Arch without the GATE exam.

The required entrance exam for B.Arch is NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture). GATE is primarily for postgraduate engineering programs.

There isn't a specific GATE cutoff mentioned for MIT School of Architecture.

While a valid GATE score is preferred for admission to their Master of Architecture program, the exact cutoff varies based on factors like:

  • Number of applicants
  • Difficulty level of the GATE exam
  • Available seats
  • Institute's discretion

It's recommended to aim for a good GATE score to increase your chances of admission.

No, you can't get admission to the M.Tech programme offered at IIIT Vadodara without appearing for GATE. The institute accepts students on a strictly an entrance basis. Students must appear for the GATE entrance exam and secure a valid score in the test to be eligible for admission. Additionally, those with a valid score in the exam need to register for the CCMT counselling following which seats will be allotted at the institute.
