No, Candidates who are in final/ 3rd or above year in their graduation only can fill GATE application form. Candidates in 1st or 2nd year of graduation cannot fill in the GATE application form.

Yes, A candidate can fill the application form with newly created email, However candidate must not change provided email for communication purpose.

No, Candidates must know that each email is linked to a unique enrollment number and password. GATE exam conducting authorities allows one e-mail address to be used to submit only ONE GATE application form.

IIIT Bhubaneswar accepts GATE scores, followed by CCMT counselling process for admission to the M.Tech courses. IIIT Bhubaneswar cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 2 wherein the closing rank for CSE course was 485 for the General category students under the AI Quota. In Round 1, the IIIT Bhubaneswar CSE cutoff 2024 stood at 512. So, considering both the rounds, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Bhubaneswar must secure a score upto 512 to eligible for CSE admission.

As general trends show, to get admission in M.Tech at NIT Narula, the expected cutoff is around 85 percentile score of GATE, any score which is around 85 percentile in GATE generally will secure you a seat in NIT Narula, but it will depend upon the specialisation as different specializations require different scores.

Every year GATE counducting authority releases provisional answer key before the final answer key. GATE-candidates are allowed to raise objections against answers through GOAPS portal. Candidates will be required to pay a fee of INR 500 per question.
Candidates can follow the below steps to challenge answer key.
- Visit official GOAPS candidate login page through GATE website.
- Log in using Enrollment ID and password.
- Select the paper
- Click on the "Raise Objection"
- Enter the question and answer ID
- Pay the requisite fees.

In case there are any wrong details on the admit card, candidates must immediately inform their zonal center, as admit cards with unclear information will not be allowed. The GATE admit card will be made available few days before the exam date. Candidates can download the admit card using their enrollment ID and password. The GATE hall ticket contains details regarding the exam and the candidate, along with the branch-wise exam date. It is mandatory to carry the GATE admit card in the examination hall, as it is required for entry.

There are 65 questions asked for 100 marks in GATE exam. General aptitude questions are asked for 15 marks, Engineering mathematics in some paper codes for 13 marks and the rest 72 marks from the chosen subject.
In some paper codes engineering mathematics is excluded. In such case, the general aptitude section carries 15 mark and the subject-specific section carries 85 marks.
