Hi,
For MS in Germany, generally no other test than IELTS is required. Admissions are based on merit, you are required to have excellent academic grades, projects, publications etc. GATE scores are accepted, so if you wish you can take it to improve admission prospects.

Hi,
Admissions are highly competitive in Germany. Very high academic grades (above 75%), excellent projects, publications, LOR, SOP, certifications, etc. are required. Most MS programmes are now taught in English so knowing German language is optional but recommended. You should check DAAD website for university specific admission information.

Hi, it is difficult to evaluate chances by the mere percentage. 72% marks is good, but a higher percentage would have increased your prospects. Having said that, you also have work experience which will add value. The nature of your work, projects, innovative work, seminars, international projects, certifications, publications, patents and any work to demonstrate your research and innovative skills will be beneficial. Recommendation letters and a very strong personal statement are also a must. Give your best shot at the application.
