Hi,
Yes, to do MBA with any specialization from a top B-School, you need to clear an entrance exam. There are lot of entrance exams these days such as CAT, MAT and GMAT etc which you can look forward for.

Hi,
There are many mock tests/sample tests available online to check your current preparation level for GMAT. Take those and see how much more preparation is required and plan accordingly. As per the choice of city, you must look for convenience and adjustments as relocating just for coaching sometimes causes distractions as well.

No cutoff as such is defined for GMAT,you need to have attempted the exam to take MICAT.

Most of prestigious B-School abroad have following criterion to select students for their MBA: GRE score, educational background, experience, demonstrates leadership traits, recommendation letters, passion for social causes, statement of purpose, etc.

Hi,
There is no such difference between GMAT and CAT, the minimum differences are:
1) CAT is tougher than GMAT.
2) CAT is mainly for IIMs and other Indian B-schools whereas GMAT is mainly for abroad business school.
3) Pattern is always different.

Follow the official guide from MBA.com, Kaplan Series and Manhattan Series. These are the series students usually follow. To develop your business knowledge refer to your country's best world economics newspapers and refer to a lot of business websites such as Forbes, Bloomberg, International Business Times - BBC and so on.

Only NRI and foreign students GMAT scores are accepting by NMIMS ( Hyderabad and Mumbai) , for Indian students you have to crack NMAT.
