If I anticipate your question correctly then H&N training would help you to get a job as support technician/L1 engineer, etc. Matter of fact, you shouldn't expect a big return in order to earn and remuneration, but it could make a path to move forward. From a job perspective, after doing a Diploma course in H&N there is a limited scope, but in contrast, if you have the ambition to set up your own business then you may expect a lot better than any job.

It's quite interesting to see that after BE in mechanical engineering, you would like to embrace either networking and software as a career.
If I get you correctly then your question is more of development and programming.
Python
Angular JS
Jason
Java
IOS, Mobile Development
IOT technology
These are in demand and have a good future scope.
Under networking, you may pursue CCNA and then move forward with professional or security domains. In parallel, you should think of Cloud Computing as well.
