You can become HR professional by doing MBA with specilaisation in HR or by doing post graduate diploma in HR. XLRI is the best institute in India for HR. There are lot of HR professional who raise from ranks in other management functional areas.

If you want to earn money slowly and without having any physical stress then opt HR else go with Marketing but you can earn more in Marketing and you need to put more effort in it.You will face both physical and mental stress in marketing because one has to come and interact with you by liking the way you do the marketing and has to join you. I can say both HR and Marketing are the two separate domains which are having their own priorities and own style of dealing. This will be a debatable topic in general but if you want to know more about it then just read the books written on marketing and HR domains.
