The curriculum is totally relevant to industry and covers almost all the exposure to subjects which makes the students ready for industry. The IIIT Surat fee structure is Rs. 5.65 Lacs for the B.Tech courses for four years.
Only the candidates who have completed their HSC from a known university or board are eligible. The applicant who is from the general class ought to have achieved a minimum of 50% of the score in their higher education.
Candidate should have passed the 12th standard from a recognised board with a certain percentage depending upon the university. Candidates applying for IIIT's need to qualify the Joint Entrance Examina

At the postgraduate level, the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kottayam offers MTech courses to students. For MTech, a candidate must pass BTech /B.E. /AMIE or MCA/ MSc/ MS degree in CS /IT / Mathematics/ Physics/Statistics with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Also, the candidates must be employed in any organisation at the time of applying for admission to various M.Tech specialisations. Hence, be prepared for admission as soon as the application form opens.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) relaxed the 75 per cent marks in class 12 as an eligibility criterion for admission to NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) in which admission is done on the basis of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) main scores. In an official notification issued late on Tuesday, the Testing Agency said that it is in receipt of numerous representations from the stakeholders regarding changing the criteria of 75 per cent marks in the Class 12 examination. The agencys official communique said, in view of these representations, it has decided to change the eligibility conditions for Admission
