The answer varies widely depending on the job sector chosen and the company.
Usually, IIT placement stats are not made public, however on basis of what comes out from source finance companies takes the top spot in remuneration amount which can be an upward of Rs 12 lakhs per annum average.Such companies include Goldman Sachs, Tower Research etc.
Tech companies taking in computer science students also dole out huge salary packages typically in the range Rs 10-20 lakhs per annum. Google, Facebook, Sony come under this category.

The cutoffs have seen drastic changes over the years. Still, going by the past data, it can be safely stated that if your score around 600, you will definitely get admission in the desired discipline.

It is 96 percentile on an average backed by industry experience of the candidates. But, all IIT DOMs are not good in terms of finance and marketing specialization but they are good for operations management and e-com operations.

Chances are less at this score. You can apply for IIT-Roorkee, IIT-KGP, IIT-Madras, IIT-Kanpur. IIT-B/D have a higher cut-off, unless you have a good work/academic profile.

Yes, you should get a call from IIT Delhi the cutoff for last year was around 96 or 97percentile in CAT. It will be a borderline case. You can also apply for:
MDI Gurgaon
NITIE Mumbai
XIMB Bhubaneshwar.
