You must aim for minimum 90 percentile for IIT Delhi as it's a premier institution and cutoff for general category goes upto 98. Work experience and added certification courses are given due weightage.

There is no bifurcation of salary offers disclosure on website, however placements are stupendous for mechanical stream and all Indian manufacturing companies have visited here.

There is no difference for student studying in NIT and other studying in IIT.There is only thinking that go for IIT only.There are NIT'S which are far better than some IIT like NIT Allahabad it ranks above some reputed IITs.So don't let your career fix to IIT only if you are getting a good NIT go for it.
