To be eligible for the program, you must have achieved 60% or higher marks in your 10th/12th/Bachelor's degree examinations. The student must have passed a 10+2 or above examination from a recognised board. The compulsory subjects need to be Physics and Mathematics. The third Science subject can be Chemistry, Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject. Minimum marks requirement in the qualifying exam is 50% aggregate. For SC and ST candidates, the minimum marks requirement is reduced by 5% (45%).

The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, and Information Technology have more placements at Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology. PSIT also offers specializations within the B.Tech CSE program, allowing students to focus on specific areas of interest. The B.Tech placements at Shri GS Institute of Technology & Science (SGSITS) in Indore are excellent. The average package offered was around INR 10 LPA for the 2023 placements and the highest package offered was INR 26.11 LPA.
