EWS category is newly introduced so we don't have any previous data to compare, but since it belongs to General category reservation I think you must be eligible for CFTI, GFTI in your state.

I don't think that you can get any good NIT with this percentile, because your rank may be probably above INR. 1 Lacs in general and may be above 10,000 in EWS category. So, there is very low chance. And, there is no benefit of taking admission in eastern nits except NIT silchar. Try for IIITS or GFTIS.

Only 5 subjects marks are included for cutoff or you can say eligibility criteria for NIT iiit admission. Taking 3 main subjects + 1 language + 1 extra subject.

You can get ECE branch in RTU or in JCRC.

Definitely, you can get admission in ICT chemical engineering with your good marks in JEE.

Definitely, you can get mechanical branch in top level NIT's. Go for it.

Yes, your chances of getting NIT Trichy is very high. I think you will also get a good branch there.
