There would not be any problems if you are applying as a general category student. But, if you apply as OBC student, you can get a better seat. In this case you are required an OBC certificate.

JEE Main paper 1 is GATE for JEE Advanced through which you can go to IITs, and mains score is only for entry in NITs, GFTIs, and other institutes. So, you have to crack JEE Advanced with a superb rank to get into IIT, Kharagpur.

Never pick a new topic in last 2-3 weeks, just strengthen your good topics as well as poor ones. Try to familiarize with the pressure of exam and one and most important you should have learned all formulas because in JEE Mains question are cracked by formulas (because speed matters) even if you have cracked the concept.

Hello,
If you are willing to join engineering college with 50 marks in JEE Mains, then you are not going to get any NITs because now a days computer Science branch is in trend. You can opt for private colleges.
Good luck.

You can get the answer key online or from any institute also. Online answer key is published by IIT after the JEE is over. The time when I am.A. Answering this question it is not conducted by IIT now, it's now an independent body which is NTA. I hope you got your answer.
