Hello Jithin Sabu, From this year onwards NTA has decided to declare results based on percentile and not on raw marks. Hence it's tough to guess colleges based on your marks. However to help you I am attaching a link that will predict college for you based on your percentile. https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/jee-mains-college-predictor
Best wishes to you.

Hello Apoorva, You are quoting a percentile figure and further asking as to what would be your percentile. I have not understood your query. Can you please ask it again?

Hello Rohit Kumar, It's indeed very futile to make conjectures about percentiles based on the marks scored. Even though process to convert marks into percentile is very simple, it can be done presently only by NTA since it only has the information required for calculating it. I would like to advise you that please wait for few days as NTA is expected to announce results in few days. Best wishes to you.

Admission is through counselling based on rank in JEE Mains. Admissions is based on score obtained in SAT through DASA scheme for Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin/ Non-Resident Indians/Overseas Citizen candidates. Please wait for the ranking charts to be displayed.

Hi,
You can get NIT College with this rank but the stream you won't get CSE, IT, etc. Other government colleges which you can get is UIET (Panjab University) etc. with this rank. Good luck.

Hello Ameya Jain,
Actually speaking, even 100 percentile in JEE Mains examination conducted by NTA will not get you a seat in IIT. However a good score is definitely required in the examination to get clearance for appearing in JEE Advanced. It is the score which you obtain in JEE Advanced that will be the deciding factor for admissions in all of the IIT's. It goes without saying that you must do well in JEE Mains so that you are in the zone where your percentile is enough to get you qualify for JEE Advanced. Best wishes for your dream of getting into IIT for studies.

I can understand your apprehension and angst about knowing your percentile score. However it is very tough. In fact it's next to impossible to calculate percentile ourselves. This is so because to calculate this percentile one must have information like maximum marks scored, minimum marks scored and the total number of students appeared for this examination. Invariably we have none of this information in our possession. The only entity having this is the national testing agency and they will be releasing the results in a day or two including the percentile which you have scored and the ranking which you have obtained based on the perce
