If your income is less than 8 lacs per annum, you should change your category from general to EWS as if you don't change the category you won't be able to avail the benefits.

Hi Satadal,
In 74.96 percentile, it is little bit difficult to get NIT to SC category in CSE branch.
But, you can also try for other branch in same NIT, because in CSE cut off is high. Best of luck.

If you can not access the modifications page then you are out of options and should immediately call the NTA as mentioned by other mentor. Explain them your problem humbly and provide a good reason for it. It is not guarantee that it could work but that is the last option.

No, it is in English as like other Centrally organised exams. Some exams papers are now prepared in major Indian languages. But, Engineering exams are mostly held in English.

I think you can get, because in 2018 for the other state, the cut off went 752 to 1605 rank for SC category in CSE department.

Yes, you can get admission. To be considered eligible, candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum 45% marks for General category. For candidates belonging to SC/ SEBC categories, 40% is required for the same. Such candidates need to have studied Physics and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent exam along with Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer/ Vocational Subject. Candidates must have appeared in JEE Main 2019 or GUJCET 2019 entrance exams for B.Tech Admission at Nirma University.
