Hello Sandeep,
I am very happy to hear from you that you have applied for both the entrance exam for seeking admission in engineering colleges. JEE Mains will take you to NIT/IIT/CFTI etc. While TS EAMCET can get you admission in engineering colleges located in Telangana. You have indeed done a very wise thing. Just do not worry. Go ahead and appear for both the exams. Best wishes to you.

MNNIT is a top level NIT. With 82 percentile, you have a slim chances of getting into it. Though I would rather suggest to work hard and put extra effort for the next JEE in April. To be added, you can try for some other NITs and if you have a state quota you may get preferred in those.

The final AIR will be declared after April 2019, considering the best score out of the two JEE Main attempts for all the applicants, hence based on current percentile we cannot predict for which all colleges you are eligible. Wait for the final AIR declaration.

You have good chances to get admission with this score. Keep trying hard, and in meantime do keep eye on other colleges too to have a safe hand.

Hi there,
Different colleges have different criteria for JEE. For Thapar Institute in Patiala, you can apply through two criterias. 1) Based on your JEE score and 2) Based on your 12th class percentage (PCM OR PCB). The division of seats for the above two is 30% and 70% respectively. You can choose as per your suiting. The institute has just opened this application form.

Hello Vaishnavi,
Procedure for getting admission into second year of engineering after completion of Diploma in Engineering is decided by the concerned state government. Some States give admission based on the marks obtained in Diploma while others give admission based on a separate test conducted for this purpose. But I am afraid there is no state which has assigned JEE Mains as the examination for deciding merit for admission via lateral mode directly into second year of engineering. You can find out the procedure about your state by visiting the webpage of the Directorate of technical education of your state.
Best wishes to you.

41 percentile is quite low to get admission in JNTU, you will not be able to secure admission with this.
