There is no branch-wise cut-off. All the candidates can attend the counseling. In such counseling, where a candidate has to be physically present, sometimes many top rankers do not turn up. Some others are interested in a particular branch and the moment the seats of that branch are filled up, they leave. If you have a high score you stand a good chance to get a seat. If your rank is lower than that, you can still hope to get a seat. For this purpose you can apply for the waiting list by filling up the form and depositing Rs.1,00000/- by bank draft. As and when a seat falls vacant, this will be filled up from the waiting list.

There is no branch wise cut off. However, based on my experience, I am listing the average cut offs for all branches:
75+ - Mechanical
70+ - Civil
120+ - Computer Science
105+ - IT
70+ - E&TC
You could opt for a branch, which is not of your choice, if you are eager to get into Symbiosis, and later apply for a branch change and maintain a decent CGPA throughout the first year.

To score good marks in MHT CET refer your text book as syllabus is based on them. Try to solve every question, which is given on your text book for your practice. Try to work on your concepts. Once your concepts are clear you will able to answer all the objective type questions. You can also solve as many as MCQs for your practice. According, to the new changes class 11th will hold 20% weightage and class 12th will hold 80% weightage and there will be no negative marking. So, you should prepare accordingly. You can also solve complete mock test series to analyze your performance level and to know your strength and weakness. Work on you

You can opt for the NEST exam, if you have interest in research work or you can opt for the Indian statistical institute. These are also two good colleges and exam for the entirely different stream that is known by very less students pursing to do B.Tech.

With this rank, it is bit difficult for anyone to predict that, as it may be possible that in JEE Mains your performance is not that much good as that much you have studied and you might have done better in VITEEE, so it is difficult to predict.

You should apply for the Mains counselling, but it is difficult to get any college or any branch at this score. But, no problem for the backup you can take for VIT in that you can opt for the Chennai, as with this rank, you can't get the main Vellore campus.

Hi Jay,
As per IIST Admission Norms, you need to have at least 5% in Jee Advance exam. Hence only JEE mains would not be sufficient. Detailed procedure you can get on the website.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck

Sorry, but here is no chance for less than 75%. It's an strict rule. You can try for private colleges.
Best of luck for future.

No, as per my knowledge BMS take admission on basis of KCET for Karnataka Domiciled Students and COMED-K for outer state students. So, all the best.
