Hello Sai Teja, National Testing Agency has conducted JEE Mains in the month of January spread across many sessions. Students from each session were then compared with themselves and given the percentile score. Similarly the exam is going to be conducted over multiple sessions in the month of April for the second time and again results will be declared in percentile form calculated for each station independently. The conversion of percentile into rank is a very difficult process though not impossible. For this to happen one needs to know almost all the information which is not available with general public like you and me. Hence the agency which is having this information that is national testing agency is the only one which can do this and they will be doing it & by end of April you will get your rank announced by NTA. Hello Venu Madhav, It is a myth when one feels that a student can go abroad for an engineering study with low tuition fees that too in a good institution. Studying abroad is always costly even if the student takes up part-time job which is allowed. Parents still have to shell out a substantial amount of money for sustaining the studies of their children. You have received a quite good percentile in the January edition of JEE Mains. I suggest in the next one and half months if you study little further and a little focused for improvement in your percentile then the chances of your getting seat in one of the NIT is will improve substantially. I feel NIT is the most suitable for you to study with low fees. However, if you are still inclined to pursue the option of studying abroad I would advise you to approach agencies dealing with sending students for graduation in engineering abroad to know about the finances involved in the whole process.
