The final AIR will be declared after April 2019 considering the best score out of the two JEE Main attempts for all the applicants, hence based on current percentile we cannot predict whether you will qualify or not. Wait for the final AIR declaration

JEE Main Percentile is calculated to compare marks among candidates. To be more specific, percentile the number below which a certain percentage of scores or observations fall. For example, consider the candidate's mark is calculated as 80 percentile. This means 80 percent of candidates scored below this candidate.

Hello J Haritha,
There is a wide variety of courses that is available across different NIT of India. If you score reasonably well in JEE Mains then you can get any of these courses or branches for studies. Aeronautical branch is only in IIT's and if you want that then you'll have appeared for JEE Advanced also. Some state governments have assigned JEE Mains as the CET examination of the state and you can get admission in your college of the state in case your state also has assigned JEE Mains as the common entrance test. Best wishes to you.

Hello Lack,
I am sure that with more than 97 percentile in JEE Mains, you can get any branch in Army Institute of Technology, Pune, but remember admissions in this Institute are strictly limited to the wards of children of Army personnel who have served in Army for a minimum period of 10 years. I am attaching a link that will give you detailed information about other eligibility criteria also. https://www.aitpune.com/Admissions.aspxBest wishes to you.

Hello Aashrith, first of all let me congratulate you for your son's great achievement of scoring a percentile which is more than 99. What this means is that he is quite capable of understanding, analysing and writing an answer which is up to the mark. These are the traits that will come in very handy when he appears for JEE Advanced for getting into an IIT. If he performs in a similar vein I am sure he will get admission into the stream and IIT of his choice. Let him continue to study and prepare exactly the way he has prepared for JEE Mains.
Best wishes for your sons attempt in JEE Advanced.

Similarly the exam is going to be conducted over multiple sessions in the month of April for the second time and again results will be declared in percentile form calculated for each station independently. The conversion of percentile into rank is a very difficult process though not impossible. For this to happen one needs to know almost all the information which is not available with general public like you and me. Hence the ag

Hello Venu Madhav, It is a myth when one feels that a student can go abroad for an engineering study with low tuition fees that too in a good institution. Studying abroad is always costly even if the student takes up part-time job which is allowed. Parents still have to shell out a substantial amount of money for sustaining the studies of their children. You have received a quite good percentile in the January edition of JEE Mains. I suggest in the next one and half months if you study little further and a little focused for improvement in your percentile then the chances of your getting seat in one of the NIT is will improve substanti
