I don't think there is any other way to get admission in UPES without applying for it. You have to apply for it.

Since your marks are just average, getting into very good college would be a challenge. You must decide what stream you would like to pursue and then choose a college.

Dear Shruti,
There are many good private universities where you can try for admission. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of class 12 marks. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 12 or JEE or even during the course.
