Since you failed to qualify in general category as the cut-off was 74, therefore, you will not be able to get any college like NIT, IIT, IIIT, etc.
You can prefer any state level entrance exam which can lead to government colleges if you score very good marks. Not just cut-off marks. You can also go for private colleges like Manipal University, SRM, Chennai, VIT, KIIT, etc. These are the very good colleges. Choose according to your concern.

Firstly look that are you qualified in your category or not then only decide for NIT or IIIT. Choose one only in which you have interest and wanted to make career in that field only .
Don't choose branches on the basis of your secured rank. But choose according to your interest.
It will totally depend on you that which branch you will going to choose for future. Make sure that the branch you will choose is suitable to you so that in 1 year you did not regret after taking the branch. All branches have good scope in future and in all branches you are going to have various job opportunities.
