Hello Naman,
To get a good score, you need to put in a lot of efforts. As JEE questions are more concept oriented, you need to have a clear knowledge of the concepts.
It is also important to know the formulae and identities well. Practice is the key to success.
Practice more and more questions and in the last days of preparation, you can give many nock test papers so that It will be useful to analyze yourself.
Do not give more importance or time to those chapters in which you are not strong rather focus on those topics in which you think you are stronger.
You may refer to the good preparation books and solve many problems.
Don't stress more

To prepare for JEE Mains, you first need to build strong concepts. For building strong concepts, you will need to master the basics first.
So, I will recommend you to first go for the NCERT Books. As you are in class 11th, you will have plenty of time to practice more and more questions. So, complete your 11th CBSE 1st. Practice as many questions from them.

After that, move to books like HC Verma and RD Sharma, which are very good books to get a deeper knowledge and practice more questions.

There is nothing tough about the offline exam. The factor which matters is practice. Since, as the beginning, we are habitual of practicing on paper, giving tests, solving questions, making notes and everything.
So, many students become a little nervous about the online mode. As the JEE Main 2018 dates are getting close. Their anxiety level also increases. So, for being comfortable, you can choose the Offline exam for the start.
Visit: https://www.eduncle.com/iit-jee to get the best pre-exam related tips.
But as you have seen many exams are now conducted through online mode only, so eventually, you will have to give online exam one day.

Hello Ashmit,
To get the best preparation tips to crack IIT JEE exam, visit:
https://www.eduncle.com/iit-jee
NCERT books are surely mandatory for preparation of JEE exam. You have to master the basics, and for that NCERT books are best.
NCERT Books are enough to get good marks in the 12th, but for JEE, NCERT Books alone can't assure you the success.
This is because the number of questions for practicing are less. In order to solve more and more questions, you have to practice questions, more and more.
