After cracking CET, you can get admission in colleges in Maharashtra and after clearing JEE Mains you can get admission in NIT, IIT CGF institutes etc. I would suggest you , take both the exam.

Preparation strategy is actually simple. Assign a time for each subject every day. Assign some time for exercise and yoga every day. Take mock test every week. Work on weak areas. That's all.

There are some specialist institutes which have JEE Mains preparation and 11th/12th study simultaneously. However, clearing actually depends on students caliber. But these are not at all places. Kota and Hyderabad are famous for this.

With only 140 marks in JEE Mains out of 360, is too low a score. From this year, marks in 12th board do not count. You need to score more than 280-300.

Both are equally competitive exams. It's all question of perspective. Don't get scared by competition. What will you do in life? There is a competition at every step!

It's all perspective. If you study well both are simple exams. On the other hand if you do not study, both are hard nut to crack. Choice is yours to make.
