Hello Aashish,
This statistics is perhaps not available. However, last year out of 12 lakh students who appeared for JEE Mains, about 1.5 lakhs were above cutoff announced. In fact, cut off is announced keeping in mind the seat availability in IITs vis-a-vis number of students to be allowed to appear for JEE Advanced.

Hello Saurabh,
You have asked an existential question. Answer unfortunately is straight forward no. Other institutions which take score from JEE Mains do accept lower scores, but these too have already been announced. You definitely need to score 75% or more in your boards to get into IITs.

Hello Abhishek,
Normally, I have not heard of geological engineer. I have friends who have done B.Sc in Geology. JEE Mains is only for those who want to do Engineering. However now a days courses are offered in earstwhile ISM, that give you degree in engineering. Hence, you have to clear JEE Mains to get admission there.

For other states' general students, all the seats of the respective branches are filled up under AIR 8000. For Delhi students, around AIR 22000 is required.

Marks in boards doesn't aren't going to affect your rank from this year. And, if you've got 196, your rank is under 13k you will get any good NITs.
