There are chances that you may get NIT based on your score in JEE mains. But you should not rely only on a single option. You should also apply for some other best institutes either government or private. You can also expect scholarships from some private universities. If you belong to any reserved category, then you are eligible. If you are from general category, then I fear you won't be able to.

Chances for getting govt college in general category is less but if you are in category you can get the good govt college for that go to shiksha and use shiksha college predictor.
