Akash ! based on your score in JEE mainsyou will not get admission in top Government institutes but don't worry there are some private institutions that are doing equally good as them,you may get admission in them by scoring a good rank in their entrance examination and thereafter getting high scholarship.some of these universities are:

NITs generally take students who have qualified the cutoff. You've done it. And you are far ahead of the cutoff(116-70=46 marks). You'll surely get it. But yes, keep ready all your cerificates because they begin the counselling right after the declaration of AIR. All the best for JEE Advance !!

Hi Vigneshwari,
The predictor may vary from institute to institute. There can be variation in ranks when the same is calculated on the basis of normalization of scores, taking in account Class XII Board results along with reservation (SC / ST / OBC etc.) and JEE exam scores.

Considering your marks, your rank will be around 2,50,000. The cutoff for SC candidates from other states was between 3000-5000 All India Category Rank. And there are 3-7 seats for SC candidates in NIT Hamirpur's branches. Considering this, you won't be able to get into NIT Hamirpur, unless you score better marks in JEE Mains exam.

There are chances that you can get MNIT but that also depends on the number os students applying or the cutoff and many more factors. So it is suggested that do not rely on a single college instead apply for some other best colleges. You may get admission in other best private university based on this score and even scholarships also. Giving you some suggestions -
