Hey Abhay,
Most of the top govt universities take admission either on the basis of JEE mains or their respective state entrance examinations. Most of the state universities take admissions on the basis of state entrance examinations. However there are certain private universities which offer quality education and even offer scholarships. You can consider them also. Suggesting a few universities -

Only you can make a timetable for yourself depending upon your activities. Make a time table by hours per day. Please make sure its a pragmatic schedule. Do not make an overly zealous one. Do not keep unachievable goals. Mark sleeping hours, meal hours, break hours on it and divide the remaining time into coaching and school study. Yes, you may have to digress from it. A little flexibility should be allowed to account for the assignments from school. Other than that, stick to the schedule very religiously and you'll land up doing great in both boards and JEE. All the best.

Yeah bro, you will not take part in the jossa counselling until you got the required cutoff marks. But there are many other colleges that arrange their own counselling on the basis of jee main marks.
