unlike last year 1.5 lakh students qualified for jee advanced but this year there would be 2 lakh students so i think cut-off will be less than last year(105) BUT many questions were wrong so the cut-off may increase. wait for the result!

Hi subhanu mishra, it's better to take admission in any UG college than dropping out for a year. Based on your score if you just miss into top iit's or nit's I suggest you to work hard for one more year but that does not happen for most of the students only around 5-10% are successful. There are many top private institutions which are far better than some of the nit's like (BITS,VIT,MIT,.) go to them and check out, they all maintain very good standards in education.
Good luck.
