Hi Esha,
It doesn't matter as long as you dont want to do an undergraduate program in architecture. If you're an IIT or NIT aspirant, don't worry it doesn't matter if you write paper-2 or not.

Hi Gunjan,
JEE Main Paper 2 is conducted for admissions to B.Arch/B.Planning courses at NITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions. JEE Mains paper 2 is based on both drawing and maths skills , it has a math section (level is same as the jee mains paper 1) and a sketching and 3D interpretation section. The rank you obtain in paper 2 is independent of the paper 1 rank. Hi Anu,
NATA comprises of two parts mainly, one being the drawing section and second is the online aptitude test. You can study on your own if you have a fair sense of 2D drawing, 3D drawing and Perspective for the drawing part. You get plenty of question papers online and there are online videos too for reference.
You get books for the NATA aptitude test. Refer some of these books for the test. These questions keep on repeating and they seem quite tricky at first, but are very easy if you know the logic behind solving these question's. You also need some basic knowledge on architects, famous buildings and the material used. That's all.

Hi Rupa,
There's hardly a chance! You need atleast a four-digit rank in Paper-II to get into a NIT.
