Above people have mentioned some good colleges already .couple of them which were not added are
IIIT Hyderabad which can compete even top IITs in terms of IT field .similarly to this even IIIT Bangalore
See also if possible write Karnataka CET exam and if you can get good rank and admitted into top colleges like RVCollege and few good ones in Bangalore with computer science background his/her life is also gonna be great .Bangalore being hub to IT companies many companies do visit for placements .This move would be one of the smartest moves provided unable to get into top colleges

Devoting one full year for JEE preparation has its own merits and demerits. Dropping a year means that you will get sufficient amount of time to prepare for JEE. It will allow you take mock up test and help to score good ranking in JEE. However, one year is a long time so the possibility of you may change your goals and objectives. You may become lethargic because of availability of time and lesser pressure. You may waste time. Hi subhanu mishra, it's better to take admission in any UG college than dropping out for a year. Based on your score if you just miss into top iit's or nit's I suggest you to work hard for one more year but that does not happen for most of the students only around 5-10% are successful. There are many top private institutions which are far better than some of the nit's like (BITS,VIT,MIT,.) go to them and check out, they all maintain very good standards in education.

Hello niharika. There are lots of NITs and each has different cutoff ranks for different branches. So whether or not you'll get admission in one depends upon which state you belong to, which state you want to take admission in and what branch you want.

Apart from NITs, there are other colleges that take admission through JEE mains score, like DTU, NSIT, Jamia Milia, Jaypee etc. Or else you can take other tests like bits, Manipal, srm, IPU etc to get admission into these colleges.

Your score doesn't assure you to get admission in best schools but this is not the end. There are certain best universities which conduct their own entrance examination and and consider your performance to admit as well as reward you. You can check out these universities.
