A student can produce his candidature for JEE entrance thrice (provided the student has successfully completed his 12th class).
Since you are writing your compartment exam, I would request you to pass the exam so that you can appear for the upcoming JEE exam.

No not at all. This is not possible. Giving the JEE mains exam is mandatory since it is the sole criteria on which admission to NSIT is based.

Yes, you can appear for the JEE Mains 2016 after accepting a seat in JoSAA but not in JEE Advanced.
