Most valuable exploration insights of my college.

Renowned companies like Fiitjee, Biju's, C- dac, P&g, My Ways, etc., frequently visit for recruitment, resulting in 80% of students successfully securing internships and job placements. The top salary package offered reaches up to INR 10LPA, with notable positions such as assistant manager, data analyst, and business development being highly sought after.
Infrastructure: Both the college and hostel have outstanding infrastructure, with dependable Wi-Fi and excellent mess amenities. The hostel premises are meticulously maintained, thanks to the dedicated cleaning staff, while the ample grounds offer ample space for recreational activities. The classrooms provide a well-equipped environment for learning. Medical services are easily accessible, and the campus offers sufficient sports facilities.

Specifically, the departmental faculty cultivates a warm and nurturing atmosphere, promptly addressing any concerns raised by students. The teaching staff consists of highly qualified individuals from esteemed institutions such as IITs, guaranteeing exceptional teaching standards. Satisfied with the campus .
Placements: As we are in recession period, placements are bit low right now as our last batch did not got that much placements. And till we get eligible for placements the placements will be high at that time. Average package will be like 21 Lacs before but nor its down to 17 or something due to recession. Internships opportunities are constant and we can apply for internships from the third sem.
Infrastructure: The nature around the college is top good. During the may, june, july its heaven it is to good. I had went ro wayanad, malpurram they are way too good. Classrooms are also so clean and acceptable. Wi-Fi facilities are provided in classrooms as well as in hostels. Libraries are also available in the college for all branches. There is common library as well as department library. Canteens are also available for students but the cost is high according to the market price.
Faculty: Faculty members are very concerned about students they try to motivate students everytime. The quality of content they provide to us also very appreciated. But at some point some faculty members target students which I really don't like. Semesters exams format is like other colleges we have three exams in a single sem which are two mid exams one sessional exam and at last there is final exam. Exams are difficult we have to study for getting passed in exams. 90% of students get passed in exam.
Other: I choose this course because I am interested in core branches and I want to work in core branch sector.

Review of my college #Nitc.
Placements: 50% of students are from their home state, and 50% are from other states. The highest package is INR 40 lakhs, and the average package is INR 5 lakhs. The top companies are Oracle, etc. 70% of students are placed in internships. In my course, many core jobs will come from the petroleum and paper industries.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are available, like Wi-Fi; labs and classrooms are available; and the library is available 24/7. The hostel facility is average. Food is not that good in a mess. Rooms are very small; in the first year, we used to accommodate five people in one room. And medical facilities are there but not that good. Sports and games are okay.
Faculty: Here at our college, we are ranked 5th in the NIRF ranking for teaching. Teachers are well knowledgeable and they are PhDs, so their overall teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is not that helpful in engineering life. Yes, the semester exams are very difficult at our college. And here the pass mark is decided by the toppers papers and average mark; not a specific mark is there for pass.
Other: For my JEE Main rank, I got this chemical engineering so I opted for it. Many intentions and teachers are good and facilities are good. They introduce the correct and useful curriculum. Here, fests are not as good as expected. Sometimes college is canceling our fests too and postponing their dates.

Absolutely good college and one of the top NITs in India.
Placements: About 85 to 87% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 46LPA and the lowest is 6LPA and still the placement session is going on. Top Recruiting companies like Microsoft, Google, Qualcomm, Samsung visited our campus.80% have got internship in my course. The roles offered are Electronics, Service, Communication, Embedded, Network engineers.
Infrastructure: Here in NIT Calicut we are having nice infrastructure but as this campus is built in 1961 buildings here are quite old but the facilities inside are very good with absolutely new equipment. In the college buildings and hostels u will get 24/7 full speed Wi-Fi and here the labs are absolutely fine. Classrooms are very nice with amplifying speakers and a big blackboard which helps the teacher to deliver a nice concept. Central library is good with lot of books and it's 24/7 open and library is completely digital with AC. Hostels given to 1st year students are not very nice but okay as these are old buildings. The quality of food is okay in the mess and canteen and medical facilities are nice with 24/7 open Health center. Sports here are excellent with many league going on like Nano cup, inter NIT, inter department.
Faculty: All the teachers here are Ph.D. holders, and some have done their B.Tech in some IITs, and they are highly talented and cooperative. The teaching quality is very nice. This course curriculum is completely relevant, and it does make students industry-ready and gaining practical experience as they even do internships outside the campus. The semester paper is very difficult here. You cannot do it in one night itself to crack the exam. You need to understand the concepts and practice well. Don't expect an easy paper here in NIT Calicut. The pass SGPA was 5.0.
Other: I opted for this course so that I can appear for both hardware and software placements. The best things about my course are easy to grasp and less stress easy placement. In my course, the coding culture needs to be improved a bit. There are a lot of events going on on-campus like Tathva, ragam, Navaragam. The campus is fine, and there are fewer crowds here. The Calicut Airport is like 35km from here, and the Railway station is like 25km from here. The campus surroundings are nice with all supermarkets and restaurants. You can join a lot of clubs here and participate in all events and take part in all activities. If parents' income is less than 1 Lakh, there is a complete fee waiver, and if parents' income is less than 5 Lakh, then there is a 2/3rd waiver. For SC, ST, PWD students, there is a complete fee waiver.

National Institute of Technology in a Nut shell.
Placements: Students in their seventh semester are eligible to participate in the placement process at our college. Renowned companies such as Oracle, Bajaj, and DE Shaw have visited our campus, offering attractive opportunities. The highest package offered was approximately 60 Lacs, while the average package stands at around 12 Lacs. It is worth mentioning that a significant percentage, ranging from 70-80 percent, of our students have successfully secured placements. Regarding internships, only a select few individuals with exceptional skills have the opportunity to intern at prestigious companies like American Express, Oracle, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: The faculty members at this institution are both moderate and highly qualified, holding PhDs. Although the infrastructure is quite old and the laboratory equipment is outdated, they still function properly, although some items may not work at all. The hostels provide facilities such as fans, beds, cupboards, and water filters. The washrooms are maintained in a clean and tidy manner. The quality of the mess food is not terrible, but dishes prepared with coconut oil may not be enjoyable for students from outside the state. The promotion of sports and games is highly encouraged, and there is a health center available for medical services. The classrooms are satisfactory, and the large library offers an extensive collection of books to cater to all your needs.
Faculty: The teachers exhibit a commendable level of assistance and engagement, although a few may display strictness and arrogance towards students. However, considering their age, it is understandable for occasional outbursts to occur. The curriculum comprises a mid-semester examination and an end-semester examination. It proves highly beneficial for students inclined towards the core subjects, although the majority of students express a keen interest in the IT field. The semester exams are not excessively challenging, as one can achieve an SGPA of 8 by initiating studies merely two days prior to the exams.
Other: I have selected this course based on my ranking in it. My intention is to enhance the education policy, although it is already being implemented in our college. Moreover, the curriculum for our junior students surpasses our own. Our college organizes two festivals, one technical and the other cultural. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connectivity is commendable, and scholarships are provided to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
