You must meet specific eligibility conditions, such as JEE Main qualifying marks and rank requirements, in order to be eligible for JEE Advanced. You will receive a relaxation in the JEE Main cutoff if you are an OBC applicant, but the actual cutoff for JEE Advanced won't be revealed until the results are released. However, based on historical patterns, it is extremely doubtful that you will be qualified to take the JEE Advanced exam with AJEE Main rank of 640000. Every year, the conducting authority announces revisions to the JEE Advanced eligibility requirements. It is advised to check the official JEE Advanced notice or website for

Hello Amar Kumar,
You have scored quite handsomely at almost 95 percentile. This indeed is great achievement. However in spite of this if you are not getting the institute that you desire then you can definitely take a break of full year, study for the exam and get percentile about 99 and then you will definitely get the institute that you want. However if you have taken admission in some Institute and still desire to get admission in an IIT then you can study simultaneously for JEE Mains and advanced and definitely hope to get above a percentile of 99. Best wishes to you.

Hello Aaditya Karki, my personal advice would be to go to bits Pilani or any of its campuses. This institute has great name abroad and some sort of a tie up with some universities abroad. Also you will be prepared by the institute for your future studies abroad. On the other hand gfti are perhaps rule bound and do not have the flexibility of a private Institute. But on the other hand, if you get admission in NIT or IIT, then both have great reputation and if you can get admission in IIT then chances are that you would get admission in a course for MS abroad very comfortably. Best wishes to you.
