You can look out for government colleges if budget is a constraint for you. Mumbai University would be the best option in Mumbai. It offers both; Journalism as well as Visual communication. In Pune also, you can apply for admission in Department of Communication and Journalism, Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Yes you can pursue Journalism once your complete your 10+2. You need a certificate for HSC completion, post which you can apply for the entrance exams of the various colleges offering a course in Journalism and Mass Communication. Yes, all the colleges that offer Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication/Media studies do conduct an entrance exam. The exam is basically a general aptitude test and consists of 4 sections including Quantitative aptitude (basic maths), Logical Reasoning, English Language and General awareness.

There is no specific course for Bachelors in sports journalism in any college or University. You can rather pursue Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication, which will give you the competence to become a good journalist. Selecting your beat, i.e, genre of reporting is up to you as and when you enter the industry. You can choose to report for sports news once you complete your graduation.

There is no entrance exam for this course. You can apply online for BA in Journalism course by visiting the official website of the Delhi College of Arts & Commerce (DCAC). Final selection is done on the basis of first & second cut-off list declared by DCAC.
