It will depend on the mode of mass communication a travel journalist is working with. Generally, travel journalists working with broadcast media earn more in comparison to the ones working with the print media. But it will again depend on the type of organisation they are working with (big, small, well-known, start-up, etc.).

Yes, it is available now.
I appreciate your interest and it has a similarity with mine.
Anyway, the unfortunate part is that you can hardly find any college or university which offers this course at UG level and even at PG level in India.
I would suggest that you pursue B.Sc in Mass Communication & Videography course at SXCKOL. It would help you a lot with your career. BA in Journalism is not a single course. Journalism is there in the said course and also with other BA honours courses, such as Bengali, English, Pol. Sc. & Sociology.
Best wishes for your HS result.
All the best.

A 12th is very much important and mandatory to get a degree course in any discipline. So, unfortunately, you won't be able to pursue a course in journalism. You must complete class 12th for the same.
All the best.

The best way to start is to know what you are good at.
You could try to cast as many matches as possible, or be the most entertaining person on stream, but if you are not sure what your strengths are while doing a commentary, it would be preferred that you put in the effort to master one thing, than to do a lot more others at 50% capability.
There's a few requirements expected of the best commentators in the industry at the moment, be it as a 'color' commentator, or the one who is more of an analyst and strong in the technicality of the game itself.
You could start off with (not in order of priorities) :

There is no such course in SXCKOL.
Journalism is an ancillary subject with B.Sc in mass communication & videography and other BA honors degrees, such as Bengali, English, Pol. Sc. & Sociology.
