Mass Comm. & Journalism would open up lot of opportunities for you, provided you have interest in them. There is the obvious one, entering journalism in any print or electronic media. It does't always have to be as a reporter or anchor, but can be any other back end or front end jobs in media. Then there is advertising, Public Relations, Film-making, Photography, Cinematography, content writer an so on. The possibilities are endless as communication is the base of everything. You will have to make up your mind as to which way you want to go. Coming to the second part of your question, completing your graduation in Mass Comm and Journalism might not be of any extra assistance in bank exams. You do have to be graduate to apply for bank jobs, so yes you will be eligible for selection, that is after you clear the bank exam.

Hi there, I hope you are doing well. I feel you first need to calm yourself. Whatever happened is not a big deal. It happens with many people and you are one amongst them. You need not worry at all. I suggest you to reappear in boards to clear your subject. Just a passing marks will be enough to proceed further. There are number of good colleges and universities which gives admission in just 50%. You already fit in this criteria all you need is calming yourself to re-appear for clearing your maths.
Remember if you do well in your college by attaining good marks in every semester, performing in cultural activities, doing your assignments and internships sincerely, you have a long way to go.
Mass Comm. Has nothing to do with your 10th and 12th marks unless you have entered the college. Industry is only curious to see your qualities as a journalist and that includes impressive communication, Writing or camera skills. Worry not the media Industry is early waiting for you.
