At NIU, an integral part of the career development programme is placement, which is undertaken by the Corporate Resource Center and Placement Cell (CRCP). The CRCP prepares the students for a successful future and not merely a job.
The placement process is manifold. It includes personality development, gap identification, mock interview, pre- placement counseling, CV formation, and live projects and internships. During their academic tenure the students go through a well planned rigorous course curriculum along with real life practical trainings and internships in reputed research institutes and/or corporate houses.

To begin with you need to keep a close check on the form dates of all the good colleges which offer post graduation in journalism. For starters, Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Symbiosis (Pune), Jamia Millia Islamia, Times School of Journalism (Delhi), Asian College of Journalism (Chennai) and St. Xavier's College (Mumbai) are some of the best ones in India. Hi Akshay!
The admission process of most colleges remain the same. They conduct a general aptitude test comprising of 4 sections namely Quantitative aptitude, English Language Test, Reasoning Ability Test and General & Media Awareness Test. You can either refer to the coaching books available in the market, or you can go for a coaching institute for the preparation. As far as I am concerned, for acting and anchoring, all you need is good looks and good communication skills. If you have gained both of them after completing the course then probably you can join somewhere, but if you still haven't worked upon your communication skills then pursuing a good course that will help you enhance the same will do.
For this, you need to take a decision and think what will suit you the best.
