The NIRF report states that during the SCTIMST Trivandrum placements in 2022, 68 PG (2-year) and 27 PG (3-year) candidates were placed. For PG (2-year) students, the median package provided for SCTIMST Trivandrum placements was INR 5.04 LPA, and for PG (3-year) students, it was INR 2.64 LPA.  The placement department holds around 90% placement record of each batch. AIIMS, JIPMER, and Apollo are some of the top recruiters of SCTIMST, Trivandrum.

As per recent reviews of the Kerala University of Health Sciences, 70% of placements were reported in the most recent drives. Additionally, students received salary packages ranging from INR 40,000 to INR 50,000 per month, depending on the branch to which they belonged. Several well-known businesses have recruited students from Kerala University of Health Sciences placements in recent years, including WimsTech, Reliance, and Starware.

Central University of Kerala is considered to be as good as Utkal University. The overall placement record of CUK may not be as good as that of Utkal University, according to NIRF data. The faculty members of both universities are highly skilled and experienced. Student attention and classroom dynamics may be impacted by Utkal University's slightly larger class numbers than CUK's. CUK may not be the most affordable alternative for some students because its tuition is typically more than that of Utkal University.
