These are all the important dates for CLAT Exam:
Registration Start date : November 2016
Registration End date : December 2016
Admit Card download date : January 2017
CMAT Exam Date : January 2017
CMAT Result declaration : January 2017
Print out of Score Cards : January 2017
You can plan your dates accordingly as well apply to the colleges which are well recognised for their degree in law:

As Mr. Sunil Soni has explained about the difference between LLB and LLB honors. You can definitely go for LLB (H) and then further specialize during your LLM.
