I am an alumnae of LPU and here are the reasons why I believe LPU is best. LPU campus is a complete world in itself having more than 30000 students from 28 states of India and 3000 foreign students from more than 50 countries of the world. There is cultural diversity, mixture of emotions and this is the reason everyone tends to learn and understand each other culture and tradition prevailing in the society. Not just engineering, the university is also known for programmes like MBA, Business Management, Design, Hotel Management, Law, Pharmacy among others. LPU takes pride in its students' excellent placement record. LPU focuses a lot on providing the students the best quality education, and for that, they also adapt the latest in teaching pedagogy as well as technology to make sure that students are able to meet the standards of the modern employers. 1. The LPU infrastructure is quite vast and enough to support all types of practical like the ones needed for agriculture, physical education etc. The lush lawns are very inviting.
2. LPU has all the necessary accreditation.
3. The faculty is not only experienced but is updated with the latest learning by industry experts in the faculty development programs held at regular intervals. The faculty is academically very helpful too.
4. Industry immersion can be seen as there are seminars and workshops held by the industry experts and the alumni, so that the students can get a fair idea of the market trends

And coming to the placements 100% placements for the students who so ever registered for the placements. Final year B Tech Computer Science & Engineering student of Lovely Professional University, Tanya Arora has bagged Rs 42 Lacs job offer from Microsoft. This is the highest job offer received by engineering fresher in the region for the year 2019. Tanya has been offered the role of Software Engineer at Microsoft India R&D Centre in Hyderabad. On one side where Amity University is famous for many branches. LPU is a younger a shining star in the ranking of Best Private University of India. Lovely Professional University's commitment to teaching excellence and providing the highest quality education to its students has once again brought laurels. The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. LPU is also ranked 78th in the list of all the government and private universities of the country. University Engineering School is in the Top 100, Management School in the Top 50, and Pharmacy School in the Top 30 institutions of India. A new name as compared to others in the competition but a promising and a progressive university. Both the university have :

The university also maintain a serene teacher student ration along with it the university pertains a thorough mentorship model that builds a stronger and effective working model. I can share my experience as I am a passout of LPU and I did my Mechanical Engineering from LPU while my best friend chose Amity. Just the difference was in regards to the total fee ( usually high in case of Amity and more over no such good facilities at that price). I would say LPU was way reasonable as I could complete my B.Tech in 4 Lacs with accommodation but in Amity it costed him about approximately 10Lakhs. The Training and Placement Cell of the University has a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals. The training & placement cell of the university conducts many programs for Enhancing employability such as Professional Enhancement classes, industry experts, Workshops, Mock Drives, Guest Lectures, Summer Internship, and many others.
