A Joint Entrance Test JET is conducted by Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata to shortlist aspirants for admission in various courses offered by these institutes. Based on the performance of written and oral examination, a final merit list is announced by the Institute for the selection of candidates. Shortlisting is done in two stages:
Result-1 is announced on the basis of the written examination and auditions. Result 2 is announced for the candidates who cleared the written examination. These candidates then go through orientation and personal interview.
