Honestly, that's how I felt about GIBS. It never felt like I was just going to college, attending classes, and coming back home.
Before joining, I had compared a few colleges and even spoke to friends and cousins who were studying in different places. After all that, I finally chose GIBS Bangalore, and I'm really glad I did.
Throughout my PGDM, there was always something happening—workshops, guest sessions, industry visits, internships, college events, and placement activities. I got to meet new people, learn from industry experts, and improve my confidence along the way.
I later got placed at KPMG, and when I look back now, I feel GIBS

GIBS Business School has good placement support for students every year.
According to the college placement reports:
- Around 220+ companies visit for placements
- Every students get placed every year
- The college has strong placement records with good recruiter support
Students get opportunities in:
- Marketing
- HR
- Finance
- Business Analytics
- Sales and Management roles and more
The college also gives:
- Placement training
- Mock interviews
- Internship support

So students are prepared for jobs before finishing the course. And one of the best colleges in terms of placements and ROI.

Placement data at GIBS Bangalore (Global Institute of Business Studies) is generally provided as percentages instead of specific numbers.
- Current placement results as at the end of 2025: 100% of students who qualified for placement succeeded in getting positions.

All international students require USA student visa to study at university. The student visas are segregated into F1 and J1 visas. J1 visa allow students to engage in academic and cultural exchange activities. International students applying for j-1 visa must have sponsorship.
F1 visa is for full-time study in USA. One must possess Form I20, Certificate of Eligibility for Non-Immigrant Student Status. F1 visa student fee is USD 185.
