For Master's degree in journalism, you need to have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and/or Mass Communication with a minimum of 50% marks. Certain universities may admit students from other streams as well.

If the Diploma is a PG Diploma, then Lateral entry is generally allowed. But in case a mere Diploma, you should be a graduate to do a PG degree then. Besides, you can check with the institution.

Distance education is a crucial field as the factors of quality are two:
1. Printed or Digital Contents
2. Personal Contact Programmes
On both, IGNOU has a better offering as I have seen the government universities like Kurukshetra University gives you the worst study material in terms of relevance to modern times. IGNOU has a name and there you can find flexible learning facility in terms of subjects.

Hi Sonali,
The admission process depends from university to university and also on what you want to study. Course options can include Alternate Medicine, Homeopathy, Food and Dietics, Nutrition Consultant etc. You should be browsing through university websites and learn about the programs they offer. You have to take the IELTS and possess a good Bachelor's degree.

The best college would be any of the DU (Delhi University) colleges, like Hansraj, Ramjas, Miranda, Zakir Husain Delhi College, SVC (Sri Venkateswara College) etc. After DU, I can suggest you to study M.Sc. In Wildlife Sciences from Amity University NOIDA or M.Sc. Zoology from MDU - Maharshi Dayanand University.
