Yes, BIT Mesra offer a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course in a full-time mode. The two-year course is divided into semester patterns (four semesters). It is offered by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering of BIT. Admission to the PG-level course is based on the BIT MCA 2023 exam conducted by the institute. For admission to BIT Mesra MCA course, eligibility criteria fulfilment is necessary. Thus, candidates should have passed BCA/BSc in Computer Science, Computer Application and IT with a minimum aggregate of 55% (50% for SC/ST/PwD) to be eligible. In addition, an aspirant should have passed the qualifying examination from a recognised university. Further, candidates should keep the documents handy at the time of admission form filling and admission confirmation. These documents are required for verification purposes.

Admission to BIT Mesra MCA course is entrance-based. Admission to the PG-level programme is based on candidates score in BIT MCA exam conducted by the institute. The candidates are shortlisted based exam score. In addition, it is also necessary that the course aspirants meet the course-specific minimum eligibility criteria. The institute has the right to cancel the admission of the candidate who are found to be ineligible for the course.

Thapar University offers a two-year full-time MCA course at the postgraduate level.
