The cut-off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering is 6694 which is very close to this range. This was for the general category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut-offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increase your chances of getting admission to IIT BHU, Varanasi - Indian Institute of Technology.

The cutoff scores and ranks for admission to VJTI (Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute) for Mechanical Engineering can change every year depending on the number of applicants and their performance on the relevant entrance tests (MHT CET and JEE Mains).
