B.Tech lateral entry admission is possible only after you have completed Your Diploma in engineering. Candidates who have completed their engineering Diploma programs can apply for the B.Tech Lateral Entry programs. In most engineering colleges, there's a reserved seat for lateral entry. As per my knowledge, LPU also offers a lateral entry programme. Moreover, 800+ companies that recruit from IITs and NITs also recruit from LPU. Over the last three years, Cognizant alone has recruited 1900+ students from the LPU campus and has been titled with the Most Employable Students consecutively twice in a row by India's top talent company Aspir

Yes, without any doubt, Chandigarh University is definitely the best place to study Mechanical Engineering. The number of placements and patents filed is one the highest in North India.
The management of the University has always focused on providing the best resources to the students and the same goes for the teaching staff as well. Their prime focus has been to provide both technical and practical knowledge to the students.

Being LPU alumni, I would share the eligibility of the course. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU makes perfect sense for lateral entry as it ensures the following programme outcomes:
1: Effectively build and communicate the solutions using learnings from basic mechanical engineering, basic sciences, mathematics, and computational skills and tools.
2: Ability to design using Design of Machine Elements theories and to create prototypes using releva

In my opinion, CSE should be the best option as it covers various IT fields it will give a wonderful image of the numerous possibilities in IT fields. Now you have a lot of business ideas, by studying CSE your views get a wider angle or you will get some additional ideas. Remember that IT fields are inevitable for any entrepreneurship. Some of the additional pieces of advice that I want to give
1) Think about all the problems you may face, and then start. If you had started then don't give up until the success came across.

Whichever branch best suits your interests, aptitudes, passions, mindset, favorite subjects, and aspirations! Choosing a branch is a personal decision; choose one that interests you. Don't make the mistake of giving in to peer and peer pressure. As I stated in the first line, make your own conclusion after considering all of the factors. If you get your degree from a reputable college, you'll have plenty of work prospects in every field. Some good institutions which offer tech programs and have a high reputation are IITs, NITs, BITs, VIT, PEC, Thapar, and LPU. Examine your eligibility and selection criteria for each of them, and take a
