During graduation in my final year my friends used to earn amount by working as a freelancer on internet. As far as campus placement is considered let me tell you that CGPA decides only your eligibilty criteria for sitting in campus placement. Production engineering also overlaps substantially with manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering. B.E. Production Engineering is a full-time Undergraduate programme which links together Science with the technology used in manufacturing. The course spans for 4 years (3 years for lateral), wherein the students are introduced to concepts and skills in the creation of integrated designs for solving the shortcomings on the production front. So doing B.E. Production Engineering after Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a good decision because of relationship between Mechanical & Production.

The admission process of B.tech in Mechanical Engineering courses depends entirely upon the college or university from where the student is planning on doing the course.
For the admission in KCC, students need to get a minimum of 50% in their 12th boards. They can get admission with or without entrance also.
