Both colleges are good. Both Colleges are affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Now let us see at rankings and accreditation of both colleges. KK Wagh was established in 1984. KK Wagh was ranked 85th in NIRF 2016 Rankings. KK Wagh is NAAC Accredited with 'B+' Grade. Overall it is a good college. Now Comes Dy Patil College of Engineering, Akurdi, Pune. DY Patil Akurdi was established in 1984. It NAAC Accredited with 'A' Grade. Dy Patil is one of the top Engineering Colleges of Pune. Now which is better? Both KK Wagh and DY Patil is good. But if you wanna more industry exposure then Pune is the choice. As both are affiliated to SPPU there is no difference in syllabus. Infrastructure-wise, DY Patil is better. Also Placements of DY Patil, Akurdi are better. Choosing between KK Wagh and DY Patil depends on you. If you wanna leave Nashik and want to study in Pune, you can go for DY Patil. If wanna stay in Nashik then KK Wagh is not a bad choice. It is the oldest engineering college of Nashik and is overall good. I will suggest you to choose Dy Patil, Akurdi if possible. Otherwise KK Wagh is fine. Your 1st preference should be Dy Patil, Akurdi or Pimpri, Pune. And the 2nd preference should be KK Wagh. For further queries post comments. For MASc:
You will be working as a Research Assistant in a lab under some professor's supervision. To fulfill the academic requirement, you have to do five courses and a Thesis. If you have any plans of doing Ph.D. in the future especially in Canada, you should definitely opt for this course. You will have to write a well structured Thesis, and you will definitely learn many Tools. Now if we see Master of Science Degree, which normally students opt for, has a thesis requirement and admission process has a lot of competition. If you are interested in pursuing Ph.D., universities generally select students who have completed their MS. From the Companies point of view, they rank these two degrees almost equally with MS having a little advantage.
