Eligibility for M.Sc. in Astrophysics
The minimum eligibility required to be met for admission to the course is graduation completed with Science from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
A few universities and colleges in India conduct entrance examinations for admission to the course.

Admission to the course is conducted in 2 stages:
Institutional Test.
Personal Interview- involving assessment of fitness, work experience, publications and statement of purpose. Most colleges admit students to the course on the basis of their performance in the relevant entrance test. Some institutions/ universities conduct their own entrance tests for offering admission. The admission process may s vary from college to college.

After completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering programme, one may go for Bachelors Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering. In most Degree Engineering colleges, certain percentages of seats are reserved for Diploma certificate holders. This entry is known as the lateral entry. Diploma holders with good grade may make use of lateral entry and join B.E./B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering programs 2nd academic year (directly).
